I’m not even sure what this means for the publication of my upcoming book later in the year. Could our books be included in liquidation and sold to a third party? I don’t know. What does this bankruptcy notice mean for F+W authors like me? This is new territory for me, so I’m not sure what will happen in regards to payments due, royalties, rights, etc. Having been counting on receiving the 2nd half of the advance for my book this month, as well as July-December 2018 royalties, this is extremely bad news. I had just wrapped up a new how-to book with them in November and everyone was very optimistic about the title (I suspect my editor and the rest of the team were also in the dark about this). This is quite a massive shock, as I had thought all was well with my publisher.
